Dr. Talal Hilal, M. D., obtained his medical degree from the Royal College of surgeons in Ireland and then pursued postgraduate training in the United States in July of 2013. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2016. He was awarded the Resident Scholarly Activity Award during his time at the University of Kentucky. He then completed a three-year Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. He was appointed Chief Fellow during his last year of fellowship at Mayo Clinic in 2019
